Horus stands in falcon form, wearing a tall crown above an outlined eye and curved facial marking. Incised feather patterns cover the folded wings, while patterned bands cross the chest. A long tail extends to the elongated base.

The fired limestone has a mottled cream, pale grey-green and reddish-brown appearance, which brings out the engraved details. In ancient Egyptian tradition, Horus was associated with kingship and the sky.
