An Egyptian family story, at home in Calgary
Son of the Pharaoh grew out of our family’s business in Egypt. In 1990, Emad Adly and Carol Card brought that tradition to Calgary, sharing Egyptian craft, culture, and remarkable objects with a new community.
Today, Jacob works alongside Emad and Carol, and we run Son of the Pharaoh together as a family. Our connection to Egypt remains at the heart of the business, with family ties that continue to shape the collection and the stories behind it.
From Egyptian statues and papyrus to jewellery and perfume oils, our shop is a place to explore, ask questions, and discover something that speaks to you. Our curiosity also reaches beyond Egypt, bringing together art, mythology, and unusual finds from around the world.
