A scarab for new beginnings and fresh possibilities.

This Egyptian stone scarab has a turquoise-coloured beetle face with defined wing divisions and a pale cream-green underside with incised markings. Brown accents highlight parts of the markings and edges, giving the two faces distinct appearances.

In ancient Egypt, the scarab was closely associated with Khepri, the god of the rising sun. The sun’s return each morning made the beetle an enduring symbol of renewal and new life. Scarab-shaped amulets also expressed hopes for protection, giving this familiar form a meaning beyond its decorative appeal.
