A warm honey-coloured marking follows the rounded shoulder of this small cream alabaster vase. Its straight neck and softly tapered body create a simple silhouette with a distinctive band of natural colour.
At 16 cm tall, it fits comfortably into a shelf or tabletop display. The unlit photograph shows its soft cream finish, while illuminated views reveal the warmer marking around the shoulder and smaller details near the base.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
