Soft cream tones and fine honey-coloured veining give this tall alabaster vase a quiet, sculptural presence. Its gently rounded body narrows towards the open rim, allowing the stone’s cloudy patterns to take centre stage.
At 30 cm tall, it makes a substantial accent for a console, sideboard or display shelf. Pale layers and warmer veins offer different details as you move around the piece.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
