This Horus stone statue depicts the Egyptian falcon god standing on a rectangular base, wearing a tall crown. Its green and gold finish is accented with black detailing around the eyes, chest and layered wing feathers. An eye motif and scarab decorate the front of the crown.

Horus was associated with kingship and the sky in ancient Egyptian religion. The upright falcon form and detailed plumage give this piece a distinctive profile, with long tail feathers extending down to the base.
