Cream and taupe stone meet a sweep of rich brown markings on this compact alabaster vase. Its gently curved body and simple open rim give the contrasting natural pattern room to stand out.
The 16 cm form is an easy accent for a shelf, desk or small table. Unlit and illuminated photographs show how the stone shifts from soft earth tones to a more dramatic honey-and-chestnut contrast under light.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
The vase shown in the photographs is the individual piece offered.
