Deep chestnut-brown patches contrast with pale cream stone in this tall alabaster vase. Its softly rounded body narrows towards the base, while a short upright neck and flared rim complete the shape.
Fine veins link the darker markings across the shoulders and body, with larger cream areas visible on the opposite side. The 27 cm height gives the vase a strong presence while keeping its profile slender.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
