Bold chestnut-brown veins trace their way through the creamy stone of this rounded alabaster vase. Its softly curved shoulders lead directly to an open rim, keeping the shape simple and the natural pattern in focus.
Pale crystalline areas sit beside deeper honey and brown markings, with a different arrangement visible on each side. At 17 cm tall, it is a compact sculptural accent for a shelf or side table.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
