Layered cream, taupe and honey tones create a mosaic-like pattern across this slender alabaster vase. Its straight open rim and gently tapered cylinder shape keep the focus on the intricate stone.
Standing 23 cm tall, the vase brings a strong vertical accent to a shelf or table. Illuminated photographs reveal warmer amber patches and deeper brown details; the unlit view shows its quieter cream and taupe colouring.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
The vase shown in the photographs is the individual piece offered.
