This stone shabti features a mummiform body, a long headdress and a defined face with an elongated beard. Patches of turquoise colouring contrast with the sandy brown surface, highlighting the face, shoulders and headdress. The reverse has a rounded, tapered shape with mottled turquoise and cream colouring.

Shabtis were funerary figures in ancient Egyptian tradition, intended to carry out work for the deceased in the afterlife. This figurine reflects that traditional form.
