Broad ivory and cream patterns give this tall alabaster vase a softly layered appearance. Its rounded body rises to a short neck and a wide flared rim, balancing a substantial form with gentle curves.
At 30 cm high and 20 cm across, it is suited to a prominent place on a console or display table. The unlit view shows its pale surface; illuminated photographs reveal mosaic-like patches, fine veins and subtle warm undertones.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
