Obatala Mini Statue - Small Orisha Ọbatala, Oshala - Sky Father and the Creator of Human Bodies
An Orisha is a manifestation of God. Followers believe that these spirits will give them help in life, if they carry out the appropriate rituals, and enable them to achieve the destiny that God planned for them before they were born.
Obatala is the eldest Orisha and the father of all the Orishas. He created the world and the humanity that reside within. He encourages his believers to be patient and to handle matters with calm and reason. The gentle Obatala is associated with honesty, purpose, purity, peace, the New Year, forgiveness, and resurrection.
