With roots in Babylonian demonology, Lilith has been associated with female demons or wind spirits, bringing chaos and destruction wherever she goes. However, her story has been adapted and reinterpreted over time, with different versions emphasizing various aspects of her character, from a seductress to a heroine.
As Adam's first wife, she was created from the earth, just like him, and demanded equal status, refusing to submit to Adam during their intimate moments. After a heated disagreement, Lilith left the Garden of Eden and transformed into a demoness, known for her cunning.
Despite her controversial nature, Lilith has become a symbol of empowerment for some feminists, who see her as an independent woman who challenges oppressive systems.
