The ancient Egyptian zodiac, as found in the temple of Dendera. The four pairs of Horus along the outside of the circle represent the 4 seasons and 4 directions. If you add together the 8 figures of Horus and the 4 goddess you get the amount of months of the year. If you add together that hands, you get the number of hours in a day.
