A softly flared, cup-shaped rim opens above the curved body of this small alabaster vase. Cream and warm taupe tones are scattered with fine natural markings, giving its simple outline a gentle, organic character.
At 19 cm high and 11 cm across, it is a slender accent for a shelf or side table. The unlit view shows its pale stone, while illuminated photographs bring out rich amber tones and warm mottling through the body.
Alabaster’s natural veining and gentle translucency give each piece its own character. This vase is hand carved on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt.
The vase shown in the photographs is the individual piece offered.
