Our Gold Anubis Kneeling Statue captures the watchful presence of ancient Egypt’s jackal-headed guardian. This miniature brings that familiar guardian of ancient Egypt into a compact form, with a textured surface that catches the light across his headdress, figure and decorated square base.
Associated with mummification and the protection of the dead, Anubis held an important place in Egyptian beliefs about the journey to the afterlife. This little statue makes a thoughtful gift for an Egypt enthusiast or a distinctive addition to a shelf of favourite objects. Display him on his own or alongside the other deities in our Egyptian statue collection.
Made in Egypt, every piece is hand finished by us in our Calgary store.
