King Tutankamun ascended to the throne at the young age of nine and was married to his half-sister Ankhesenamun. After the monotheistic reforms of his father, Akhenaten, the short reign of Tutankamun was characterized by restoring religious and cultural traditions. Here Tutankamun, the famous young king is seen hunting with his bow, with a lion next to his throne, and his wife Ankhesenamun in front of him holding lotus flowers.
